The Poteau Area Recreational Complex (PARC) is a city-owned and managed facility which hosts various youth and adult sports leagues. The PARC currently offers baseball, basketball, football, and softball to residents of Poteau, Le Flore County, and much of eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas.
The PARC opened in the spring of 1994 and has experienced a period of rapid growth over the past five years. Nearly 100 youth baseball and softball teams participated in summer league games in 2006.
